We work with warm air systems daily - not just occasionally - and our engineers are Gas Safe registered with many years experience specialising in domestic gas warm air heating systems.  Our business is approved and recommended by Johnson & Starley Ltd, the only UK manufacturers of warm air heating units.

If you are one of the many thousands of households in central southern England with a gas warm air system providing heat with or without hot water to your home, you need look no further for a specialist service provider.

As long as your system complies with safety regulations we will service it or repair it if it has broken down. Many systems last well in excess of 15 yrs and usually far longer than conventional wet system boilers.

About Warm Air Heating

Warm air heating is NOT something of the past. Although many houses of the 1960's, '70's and '80's were built to accommodate this type of heating system, many thousands are still operating today with home owners choosing to keep this method of heating and to replace and upgrade with the more modern warm air systems now available.

Warm air heating was introduced into the UK from as early as the late 1950’s from cold countries like Canada and Sweden, where warm air systems are widely used to this day. The UK market has declined, over time, as some homeowners have replaced their warm air unit with “wet systems” installing conventional boilers despite the disruption necessary to install radiators and pipework. This type of system is not only more expensive to install but it also takes longer for the radiators to respond and to generate heat.

It is also worth considering the loss of wall space to accommodate radiators.  You may need to consider the necessity to rearrange your furniture before making a final decision when the time comes to consider replacing your system.

Modern warm air units are far more effective than the early models and, contrary to what you may hear, are not something of the past.

Greater Control, Efficiency & Cleaner Air Quality

Technology today has brought improved electronic controls; greater comfort conditions and improved fuel efficiency.  The newer models also offer electronic filtration to clean the air and remove smaller particles such as pollen, dust, mould and tobacco smoke.

UK manufacturers Johnson and Starley Ltd produce a variety of systems including the option of an integral domestic hot water circulator to provide efficient and economical hot water.

If you have just moved into a property and are new to warm air heating it doesn't take long to enjoy the benefits of instant heat without losing wall space to radiators. Give yourself some time to get used to the different system but, if you are having problems, perhaps it may just need a service or minor adjustment or repair. Contact us and we would be happy to arrange an appointment for one of our engineers to visit.
